IN ELEVATING GIRLS IN SPORTS BY CREATING A DEDICATED SPACE WHERE THEY CAN LEAD, COMPETE, AND BE SEEN. BREAKING BARRIERS IN REPRESENTATION AND ENSURING GIRLS' VOICES, TALENT, AND LEADERSHIP ARE FRONT AND CENTER.
When looking to start a new program for the organization we looked no further into the world's most popular sport; futbol. It made sense, yet at the same time it did not. Through several conversations, we came to the conclusion that our young women have little to no access to a soccer program for only girls that is led by women. We set out to do just that and to date it has grown exponentially year in and year out.
Investing in women in sports has been neglected for far too long. That is why we have created the intentional space for our young girls to grow in the sport but also our coaches to grow in their craft as well. Our Guerreras walk into every field confident that what they have learned throughout all the training sessions will lead them to success regardless of who is in front of them.
